Resurfacing is the ultimate in stone restoration. The process involves grinding the floor dead flat, removing all lips in the tiles and in some cases we can even replace the grout with a colour matched polishable resin. The end result is astonishing. Seamless, flawless perfection. This process also makes future restoration significantly cheaper, as the surface is already uniform and free of all lippage, feathering out or blending new damage is substantially easier and less labour intensive.

The process:
- If requested we remove all existing grout, which is a dust less procedure and replace the grout with a colour matched polishable stone resin. The grout lines are over filled, which allows for flush grout lines with the tile.
- The floor is wet ground flat and all lips and height variations are removed, resulting in a dead flat floor.
- Using progressively finer diamond pads the floor is honed and polished to a high shine.
- We then use our Italian polishing powder as a final polish to achieve the mirror like shine we pride ourselves in.
- The floor is then cleaned to remove and material from the resurfacing process.
- A final dry buff finishes off the newly refinished floor.
